Homemade tiltplate
I needed a solution to install my new antennas in my tilting mast as easily as possible
I found a system on YouTube called a tiltplate that caught my attention
After doing some preliminary research I started building my own
Aluminium plate 7 mm thick
Bearings chosen for affordability while still strong enough
It took me one day to fabricate this and I’m pleased with the result
Only task remaining is to level the mast properly
Planning to add an electric winch so tilting becomes much easier and fine adjustments more precise
