160m, is a new thing for me.
Until about three years ago, I could only dream of being active on that band.
Now we are ready to take the first steps on that band.

In the meantime I sacrificed 1 80m Inverted L to convert it to an inverted U for 160m.

Construction method is as usual with me, a bit sloppy for the time being.
Photos and / or a movie will follow.

In the meantime waiting for some material to add some extra radials, because you need quite a few on that band.

Meanwhile, after about 48 hours of being active on top band, already 47DXCC in the log including Hawai (K9FD).

Meanwhile 15 days later, we can not complain at the moment, both the RX antenna and the TX antenna have

already given me a lot of pleasure.

We are already at 81DXCC which in my opinion is a good result, of course these are the easiest,

but still very happy with the result.

At this moment I have already made a video of the TX antenna but I haven't found the time to edit it.

It is not the video but a photo below anyway.
You don't see anything special here but it works at the moment and I can take my first steps on top band sooner than I thought.

But I don't complain, my first qso on top band was on 07/12/2021, in the meantime after 4 months

I have already worked in FT8.
50 states still one need to be confirmed on LOTW K0DI or NE0DX. (in the meantime its confirmed all 50 states)
 111DXCC and confirmed till this moment 100 DXCC on LOTW.

All in 4 months.
