We are finally going to make some work to put all coax cables and control cables underground.
It is a long-term job because more than 250m of trenches have to be dug.

We've started digging on the shack side and hopefully by the end of the week I'll be able to get to all my barns so I can reconnect everything.
The high fence you see is for the dogs because they jump loose over my hedge.

This is where my control cables arrive in the shack and there are quite a few that arrive there.
The steering cables are later also fitted with a choke.

In this photo you can also see my grounding to which everything is connected

This is the input of my TX coaxes that I will now adjust.
I am using RG218 coax (https://www.pasternack.com/flexible-0.870-rg218-50-ohm-coax-cable-pvc-jacket-rg218-u-p.aspx)
Fairly thick coax and I will now connect it directly instead of using a finer coax cable.
There is a CMF5000 choke on those coaxes.

in the meantime already a lot further advanced with digging the ditches.

The first piece has been excavated to the barn.
Now that we're at it, the cabling in the barn has been improved a bit.
All earths renewed, control cables fitted with some snap on ferrite.

We finally got there.
Everything is underground from the shack to the barn.
Everything from the barn to the antennas will be something for next year maybe.
