RX bandpassfilters
We are already a few weeks after our wedding... in the meantime a lot has been done
all overdue maintenance is almost finished and a few problems have been solved.
It's time for something new.
This time bandpass filters for the 160/80 and 40m band.
Simple scheme of how I wanted it.
I wanted to be able to use different RX antennas through the same bandpass filters.
While I was building I added some more. 1 of my RX antennas works with a Bias T and I wanted to be able to switch this on and off together with the antenna switch.
To make sure everything is properly secured, I plugged in a fuse on every +12VDC
Here I started with the first measurements.
The control have also been adapted to the new system.
I can steal 12VDC from each antenna port to feed a bias T, without having to put an extra 12VDC outside again.
So I can now connect 4 RX antennas and run them through my bandpass filters which I can select again between 160/80 and the 40m
40m
80m
160m
The isolation between the different ports
In the meantime it has already been installed outside and everything works as it should.
The delta RX loop FO0AAA is already connected and the simple RX vertical (160m) is already connected.
The 9RX circle is for the winter period and this time it only be 1 Circle, 2 is too much effort for the small profit you make.
Thanks for reading.
